It’s almost Memorial Day, and that means it’s almost time for summer fun. Part of that summer fun is the NBA Finals, and we’re that much closer to finally knowing who will be playing for the right to be named NBA Champion. I’m excited. Are you excited? Of course you are.

To break that and a variety of other issues around the league down, we brought in Andrew Sharp of Sports Illustrated (and formerly of Grantland), and we talked:

  • Whether or not this is finally Kevin Durant’s time
  • Sharp’s thoughts on Philly and what the Sixers will do with that No. 1 pick
  • Casinogate – or whatever they’re calling that thing where a writer spotted two Raptors players in a Cleveland casino
  • Cleveland’s t-shirt economy
  • Billy Donovan
  • LeBron’s leadership skills and his sink or swim mindset when dealing with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving
  • Joe Johnson being really great at making money
  • BISMACK
  • And much, much more

Special thanks to the band Annabel for our intro and outro music. They’re really good. You should buy their music at their website or perhaps see them play a show some time.
