It was as close to a storybook ending as it was going to get Wednesday night in Kobe Bryant‘s last appearance at TD Garden in Boston. With the Lakers clinging to a 104-102 lead with just under two minutes remaining, Kobe did what he’s done countless times in his career and drained a clutch three-pointer to help seal the victory.
Despite the loss, Celtics fans were more than happy to witness one last classic performance from the Mamba as they could be heard loudly chanting his name on the ensuing possessions.
