Kristaps Porzingis Hosted A Block Party Wednesday Night, And All The Magic Players Were Invited

Latvian sensation Kristaps Porzingis is making quite the name for himself as a young rookie in the NBA, and one of the reasons has been his stellar defense. At 7’3, he has both the length and instincts to become an elite rim protector for the Knicks, and he’s already showing flashes of that potential. On Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic, he had three blocks in the first quarter alone.

Midway through the fourth quarter, he has five total blocks but is having a brutal shooting night as he is just 2-of-10 from the field and has missed all three of his attempts from behind-the-arc. The Knicks are trailing 81-70.

Then again, Victor Oladipo might be seeing KP in his dreams tonight even if the Magic pull it out.
