It’s not hard to connect the dots here.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are struggling and the Miami Heat are surging. Rumors exist that Kyrie Irving is unhappy playing for the wine and gold, and Joe Johnson is singing praises of playing for the Heat. Then there’s this: If LeBron James really loved Northeast Ohio as much as he says, why is he spending precious time off in South Beach?
There is almost always fire where there’s smoke, right? And in the case of James spending a rare off day by working out with Dwyane Wade in Miami, those flames definitely suggest the four-time MVP will be returning to the team this summer he spurned in free agency two years ago.
Not actually, of course. As Wade told Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and Ethan Skolnick of the Miami Herald, his sweat session with James is simply indicative of their brotherly bond. Nothing more.
Wade on working out with LeBron in Miami this morning… "It's the gym I work out in." Again calls LeBron "one of my best friends."

Remember New Year’s Eve 2014? When the league’s most dynamic duo of the early 2010s shared a hushed, post-game chat in which James supposedly said they’d eventually reunite?
Thank goodness the time for such baseless conjecture has passed.
Then again, incessant whispers of Irving and Kevin Love’s purported unhappiness in Cleveland aren’t much different from that non-story. Reminder: The NBA rumor mill never stops churning, and it almost never yields anything concrete.
