LeBron James Passes Patrick Ewing On The NBA’s All-Time Scoring List

It was a simple shot. Tough, to be sure, but LeBron James had hit plenty of tough shots before. Yet for how simple as that hook shot was, it was also historic. With that bucket, LeBron James passed Patrick Ewing for 20th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

While LeBron was with the Heat, especially after his first season, he spent a good deal of his time in the post. He refined his post moves to where he was just as dangerous down low as he was anywhere else – if not more so. With the Cavaliers, he hasn’t been banging down low as much, though it won’t be surprising if the team leans on him more at the four once the playoffs start.

Next up for LeBron: Jerry West, who sits at 19th with his 25192 points.
