LeBron James spent Veterans Day doing two things: beating the Washington Wizards and honoring those who have served in America’s armed forces.
James gave veterans in attendance a special Veterans Day-themed pair of Nike LeBron Soldier 10 PE shoes before Cleveland’s 105-94 win over Washington on Friday night. The shoes feature white and grey camo print and, well, here’s a photo gallery that has some shots of the kicks in action.

The shoes were made available for purchase shortly after the game. James also sent them to Ohio State’s men’s basketball team for their Friday night season opener against Navy (a game the Buckeyes won, 78-68).

While in Washington, James and the Cavs surprised some veterans who were visiting the White House while the team was also there to be honored for winning the NBA title this spring.

First Lady Michelle Obama brought the Cavaliers out to meet with some veterans, and James invited them to Friday night’s game against the Wizards. James did seem to have a lot of fun with his teammates at the White House, and it’s nice to see they did some good deeds there as well. Plus, the Cavs’ star became the youngest player ever to score 27,000 career points. It’s good to be the King.
