Rapper Mac Miller Tried, But This Streetball Legend Still Humiliated Him With This Crossover

In general, celebrity basketball games are a terrible idea. At best, you look like an awful basketball player in front of a ton of adoring fans. At worst, you go out there and tear an ACL on live national television like Jesse Williams. The fate Mac Miller suffered at Power 106’s All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles on Sunday was closer to the Jesse Williams side of the spectrum, even if his ligaments remained in tact.

That’s because, for some reason, Mac ended up isolated on streetball legend Bone Collector, and things went just as you’d imagine. First, he gets fooled by a fake pass, then Bone Collector calmly tosses the ball between Mac’s legs and finishes him off with a vicious crossover while Mac is sliding to the floor. All of that happened in about two seconds, but that was more than enough time for the crowd to lose their collective minds and for Miller to be forced into retirement by Chris Brown, who demanded he remove his jersey and immediately take a seat on the bench.

Really, there’s nothing to be ashamed of here for Mac. It all went about as expected and almost none of it is legal as even Bone Collector had to comment “Pardon the dribble violation.” But that doesn’t make it any less hilarious. At least he has music and Ariana Grande to fall back on, because those things have been going well for him lately.
