Marc Gasol Makes The Knicks Look Like Fools With This Pass

There is nothing Marc Gasol cannot do.

He will shut down the opposing team’s best player — not just frontcourt player, mind you, but even guards. He simply smothers them until they do not exist. His jumpshot is nearly automatic and requires perhaps the least amount of effort or strength of any shot in the NBA. But what makes Gasol truly special is his passing. He sees angles and avenues that other players can’t even imagine. He’ll attempt passes for which other players would get sent straight to the bench.

Gasol seems connected to the ball, somehow. He does not exert his will over it, but works in concert with it, helping it along the way to its next destination. And if the easiest path to that next destination is in between three Knicks — with one of those Knicks futilely attempting to kick the ball — so be it.
