Pistons Forward Marcus Morris Calls Out ‘Bandwagon’ Suns Fans On Twitter

Marcus Morris may no longer be a member of the Phoenix Suns, but he’s still interacting with Suns fans. And by interacting, I mean he’s actually going on a blocking rampage on Twitter.

Morris was traded to the Pistons earlier this summer as part of a salary dump in the Suns’ attempt to sign then-free agent LaMarcus Aldridge. Understandably, Morris was none too pleased with the trade, calling the Suns’ decision to separate him from his brother and trade him without his consent (which they absolutely didn’t need, but that’s kind of beside the point) a “slap in the face.”

But, hey, at least Morris isn’t calling every Suns fan a bandwagon fan. Just some! What the exact ratio of bandwagon to real fan is, Morris won’t say. His first game back in Phoenix will be an interesting one to watch, not just because we’ll get some Morris-on-Morris action, but because of how the fans will react. Will they cheer him? Boo him? Will they even care at all? This is just another of the myriad reasons why the NBA season needs to just hurry up and get here already.
