The Memphis Grizzlies Are Handing Out Tony Allen Jedi Robes In December

Do you like basketball? Specifically, are you a fan of the Memphis Grizzlies? Because it may not matter if Star Wars is more important to you than any of those things. You see, the Grizzlies are handing out 3,000 Tony Allen Jedi robes for the December 11 game against the Charlotte Hornets.

The event is designed to coincide with the release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. Exactly what the robes will look like remains to be seen, but GrizzlyBearBlues.com believes it’ll be inspired by this look:

You can check out all the other promotions on Grizzly Bear Blues, but the whole Jedi thing is pretty wicked. It’s not like the Grizzlies can hand out light sabers, real or otherwise. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen right there. But robes, in theory, should be harmless.

The only thing better would be if Allen and company were able to use Jedi mind powers to make shots or hurry up video reviews or something.
