Metta World Peace is the best. He’s one of those guys who has been around forever, so when he speaks, he has a unique perspective based on his experiences in life and his time spent in the NBA. He’s also one of the league’s quirkiest players, as he has an outstanding sense of humor and one-of-a-kind way of describing, well, everything.
For example, the artist formerly known as Ron Artest has a front row seat for the final season of Kobe Bryant’s career. He understands that everyone – the fans, the players, the coaches and everyone else – is watching history. He also understands that, since this is Bryant’s last year, fans are going to want to watch him and appreciate the final season from one of the greatest basketball players to ever live.
So World Peace, after letting it all sink in, decided to comment on the way fans are reacting to the final season of Bryant’s career. He doesn’t think that fans are excited to watch Kobe. He doesn’t think fans are fired up for one last go-around with Bean.
