Mike Conley might have the best off-hand in the NBA. The Memphis Grizzlies lefty routinely shoots right-handed runners from just inside the free throw line, and finishes with the same ease and panache at the rim regardless of which hand he utilizes. He’s arguably the league’s most ambidextrous player.
Even so, we’re still not quite accustomed to seeing Conley convert wild righty layups like this one. Not only is he almost completely under the basket upon releasing the ball here, but also almost parallel to the floor. Nevermind the insane spin on the shot; that’s commonplace for a finishing wizard like Conley.
