Last Thursday’s trade bonanza was tipped off by Kevin Garnett’s decision to waive his no-trade clause, so he could be traded by to the Timberwolves for Thaddeus Young. One guy super duper stoked — we’re picturing him running around smiling, even more than usual, shaking hands with pedestrians outside the Target Center — is T-Wolves point guard Ricky Rubio.
It’s so freakin’ adorable Rubio wants to take a picture with his new teammate. He’s not so unlike thousands of fans his age in Minnesota. Lose one superstar, gain your first superstar.
