Russell Westbrook Threw Down So Hard That The Ball Bounced Off His Chest And Flew In The Air

Russell Westbrook dunked a ball with authority on Monday night. He oftentimes does this, but this time, he dunked so hard that the ball flew back up into the air and the officials had to stop play to go get it.

Westbrook blew past the Pistons’ defense in the first quarter and took flight, finishing a right-handed slam so thunderous the ball hit his chest and rocketed back up into the air. Westbrook stared down the Thunder bench to celebrate for a bit while the ball flew back up near half court.

One of my greatest fears in life is somehow making Russell Westbrook mad at me. I mean, look at what he tried to do to that poor basketball. So all I’m going to say is that this was a good basket, Russell. Good two points. Nice work, man.
