Scottie Pippen Looked Ready To Fight After Giannis Antetokounmpo Tackled Mike Dunleavy

We all saw Giannis Antetokounmpo tackle Mike Dunleavy last night in Chicago’s Game 6 slaughter of the Bucks in Milwaukee. The 54-point drubbing even reminded six-time champion Scottie Pippen the Bulls’ days of yore.

But Scottie wasn’t all smiles, especially in the second quarter when the Greek freaked at Dunleavy and lowered his shoulder like he was going after a tackling dummy during the NBA combine.

Pippen was in attendance, and it looked like he was ready to storm the court…

Coach Kidd said after the game, it was a big mistake, but Giannis will learn from it.

But we wanted to know what UPROXX’s resident Pistons fan had to say on the matter of Pippen throwing down, since we all remember the Game 7 migraine in the 1990 Eastern Conference Finals against Detroit:

“In his time against the Bad Boy Pistons, there may have not been a mentally softer player than Scottie Pippen. He was Charmin and the Pistons were the explosive diarrhea he couldn’t contain.” – Isaac

But, since we love messing with our beloved Pistons fan, lets just remind him of two things:

1) Pippen did eventually strike back at the Bad Boys when he clotheslined Bill Laimbeer like he was…Bill Laimbeer.

2) Two years ago, Pippen laid out a drunk autograph seeker outside a trendy LA sushi joint. He was eventually cleared of any felony charges in the altercation, but he’s not someone you wanna trifle with if his family is involved.

But Scottie haters like Isaac still have plenty of ammo. The migraine game will always come up, as will his refusal to check back into Game 3 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals after Phil Jackson called the last second shot for Toni Kukoc. Kukoc eventually hit the game-winner with Scottie pouting on the bench, and we all had to witness the proud Bill Cartwright crying after the game. Thank God MJ returned, but that one instance ruined an MVP-caliber 1994 season for Scottie without playing second-fiddle to His Airness.

Regardless, Scottie looked like Giannis was Laimbeer, and for a split second it looked like he was back in his playing days. We’re guessing he didn’t get a migraine, either.
