It’s no secret that Barack Obama and Steph Curry are friends with one another. The President of the United States and the two-time reigning NBA Most Valuable Player have something kind of like a bromance with one another, and while it will never come close to the friendship that POTUS has with Joe Biden, it’s still really cool to see that these two are so tight.
The two pals apparently had some time to kill on Monday, Curry because he decided to skip playing for USA Basketball at the Rio Olympics, Obama because if anyone deserves to take some time on a random day and hang out with one of his friends, it’s the leader of the free world. So the two decided to hit the links, according to this video of the pair riding around a golf course in a cart driven by Obama.
The best part of this video is that the camera catches the pair driving off into the distance, followed closely by a group of apparent secret service members in other carts. Anyway, there’s no word on how either of these guys played, but it’s more important that they got out and had a good time with one of their buddies.
(Okay, that’s a lie. They totally wanted to beat each other down. Our money’s on Obama getting the upper hand, dude can play some golf and he’s gotten in Curry’s head out on the course before.)
