Steve Kerr Delivered A Great One-Liner About Steph Curry In The Post-Game Presser

With Monday night’s victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7, the defending champion Golden State Warriors are headed back to the NBA Finals. It was a bumpier road than many anticipated, and the Warriors came close to flatlining, as they trailed OKC three games to one in the Western Conference Finals before ripping off three-straight wins.

Prior to — and, to an extent, during — that epic comeback, there were some who questioned Steph Curry’s health and his toughness. However, this year’s unanimous MVP found his A-game and delivered huge performances when his team needed them the most.

After the Game 7 win on Monday, a reporter asked Warriors coach Steve Kerr about why people still sometimes doubt Curry’s toughness. His quick response was amazing.

“It’s because he looks like he’s 12.”

Curry has been getting razzed about how young he looks since his Davidson days (and probably even before then), so I’m sure he’s used to jokes like these by now. But still, it’s pretty funny to see his own coach get in on the action. I guess that’s what winning a Game 7 will do for you; it takes that weight off your shoulders and makes joking around a whole lot easier.
