Brandon Jennings

There are few NBA players with as much swag as Brandon Jennings. (And I say this in a good way.) So you can understand how excited I am that his new signature shoe, the Under Armour Micro G Bloodline, drops next week. Inspired by his life story, each of the seven shoes in the collection represents a different stop on his distinct path to the NBA. Check ’em out:

The Bloodline

This lead colorway collects many details of Brandon’s path into one piece – the Bloodline is visually communicated through the red line fading from the TPU to the strap, while a call-out of Rowley Park is located on the strap. His path is also communicated through the sock liner that charts his path from Cali to Milwaukee. Wherever the next stop is on Brandon’s path, he never forgets his roots, his Bloodline.

The best NBA professionals have found balance in life. A player can’t always be on the court, and can’t play the game forever. With the birth of his son Legend, this shoe speaks to Brandon’s ability to achieve balance between basketball and family. The patent toe on this sneaker represents the polished veneer on his tough Compton game, and the soft white leather upper represents the high-energy, fun-loving personality that he shares with family and friends.

The Hunter

Milwaukee is the current pinpoint on Brandon’s path. There, hunting is more than a pastime…it’s woven into the fabric of the region. The Hunter vs. the Hunted is a play on BJ’s game. Players who want to take his spot hunt Brandon and, more importantly, Brandon is hunting everybody else! A camouflage upper and a blaze orange strap with a deer antler graphic make this shoe stand out on the court.
