The Warriors Racked Up A $112 Tab For A Hearty Sampling Of McDonald’s Breakfast

The Golden State Warriors are off to an 8-0 start and playing like the undisputed best team in the NBA. Starting this Wednesday night, they have a two-game road trip against the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves before heading home to take on the Brooklyn Nets.

So how did Stephen Curry and company decide to fuel their cross-country travels? Certainly not with fruit and vegetables, and not even a healthy, balanced, protein-rich morning meal, either. Instead, the Warriors kicked off their trip by chowing down on a ridiculous amount of McGriddles, McMuffins, and more from America’s favorite fast food giant.

That’s right, the team decided to go to McDonald’s for a pre-travel snack. What does it take to feed a team of reigning champions? $122.13, apparently, at least according to the Golden Arches receipt Golden State sophomore forward James Michael McAdoo posted on Twitter.

Wait, isn’t it the rookie’s job to pick up the tab? Looks like the Warriors wanted to cut first-year forward Kevon Looney some slack and make McAdoo pick up the grub. Shout out to the former North Carolina Tar Hell for literally taking one for the team and ordering 36 total breakfast items for his senior brethren.
