No, that headline isn’t a typo. Stephen Curry — this year’s NBA MVP, and the key member of the 2015 NBA champion Golden State Warriors — will be paid less than 59 NBA players during the 2015-16 season. In 2012, Curry agreed to a four-year, $44 million extension. He will make $11,370,786 next season in the third year of his incredible — for the Warriors — deal. Even after leading the Warriors to their first title in 40 years and a franchise-best 67 regular season wins, he has yet to be given a major, superstar contract where he makes the maximum allowable under the current collective bargaining agreement.

The folks at NorCal Sports compiled the list of the 59 players who will earn more than him next season based on current deals players are in, and projected potential or expected earnings of current free agents. Believe it or not, Curry isn’t even the highest paid player on the Warriors. Let’s start there, and then look around at some of the other players who will be making more than Curry around the league:

Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors, SG| 2015-16 salary: $15,500,000

Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors, SF | 2015-16 salary: $14,260,000
