If you like NBA video games but don’t like the lack of basketball teams from your childhood available to use, the NBA 2k people released some news today that you’re going to love. Two of the most entertaining teams of the last 20 years, the 1999-2000 Toronto Raptors and the 2007-2008 Houston Rockets, will be in NBA 2K16.

That’s right, you and your college roommates can get furious at one another while one guy busts out the Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady Raptors, while the other decides to use the Yao Ming and, uh, Tracy McGrady Rockets. As you can see, today’s news is especially great if you fancy yourself a huge fan of McGrady. If you need a refresher, here was everyone who played for both squads.

1999-2000 Toronto Raptors

  • Vince Carter
  • Tracy McGrady
  • Doug Christie
  • Antonio Davis
  • Kevin Willis
  • Dell Curry
  • Charles Oakley
  • Dee Brown
  • Alvin Williams
  • Muggsy Bogues
  • Aleksandar Radojevic
  • John Thomas
  • Sean Marks
  • Haywoode Workman
  • Michael Stewart
  • Antonio Lang

2007-08 Houston Rockets

  • Yao Ming
  • Tracy McGrady
  • Rafer Alston
  • Luis Scola
  • Shane Battier
  • Bonzi Wells
  • Bobby Jackson
  • Carl Landry
  • Luther Head
  • Mike James
  • Gerald Green
  • Steve Francis
  • Aaron Brooks
  • Steve Novak
  • Kirk Snyder
  • Mike Harris
  • Chuck Hayes
  • Dikembe Mutombo
  • Justin Williams
  • Bobby Jones
  • Loren Woods

That Raptors squad went 41-41 and was swept in the first round of the playoffs, while the Rockets went 55-27, lost in the first round, and ripped off 22 straight wins between January and March of 2008. As for how this virtual game would go down, the Rockets would probably win, but the guy who uses the Raptors would totally have Vince Carter score all but five of his team’s points, because 1999-2000 VC was magic.
