Trevor Ariza Planned The Time And Place To Fight A Fan Who Criticized Him On Twitter

No team took more criticism this season than the Houston Rockets. Once thought to be a serious title contender, the Rockets barely limped into the playoffs before their season was mercifully ended by the Warriors last week.

While most of the criticism was placed on James Harden and Dwight Howard, the Rockets’ supporting cast felt it too, and Trevor Ariza did not take it well. Back in November, a fan by the name of Terry Lee commented on Twitter that he was going to pull up to the small forward’s house if he took any more pull-up jumpers. Ariza promptly responded by telling him to follow through on his promise.

Although the comment took place five full months ago, Ariza apparently still remembered once the season was over, as he DM’d the fan looking for a fight, which Lee promptly tweeted out to the masses.

From there, the beef continued to escalate with Ariza calling Lee “soft as cotton” for sharing their private messages to his followers.

Although Lee told Ariza he was only going to beat him up for charitable reasons, it didn’t seem like that quelled the 12-year-pro’s anger one bit.

Ariza then took to his own Twitter account to call out the Rockets’ fan out for “snitching.”

It was Lee that got the last word though.

Ouch.
