Watch Gordon Hayward Nearly End Miles Plumlee With Poster Dunk

The Phoenix Suns beat the Utah Jazz by a fairly comfortable score of 100-93 on Friday night. And while a career-high 34 points off the bench from Marcus Morris was the game’s story, its best highlight belonged to a player from the losing team. Watch Gordon Hayward rise to finish and nearly end Miles Plumlee with a nasty hammer dunk.

Got him!

Hayward scored 25 points (9-17 FGs), grabbed five rebounds, and dished five assists to continue his stellar play this season. The 25 year-old has managed that many points in six of his team’s last eight games.

The West is too good for the Jazz to be anything more than a competitive bottom-feeder this season. Going forward, though? The development of players like Hayward, Derrick Favors, and Rudy Gobert suggests good times are coming for Utah.
