As you should already know, Kyrie Irving has his first signature shoe, the Kyrie 1, coming out in a multitude of colorways this month at Foot Locker. They’re coming just in time for the third All-Star game, but he’s not content even though he’s so busy. This new Foot Locker spot shows off his “acting” chops with Ice T in a pretty spot-on Law & Order: SVU spoof.
After the standard sneaker hawk, Kyrie informs his buddies he’s “taken up acting,” and they all crowd around to see his debut (it’s not really his debut). On the screeen within a screen, Ice T is going to see an important witness — Irving — who simply flatlines on a gurney in front of T.
The camera pans back to Kyrie, who proudly whispers: “It only took nine takes.”
