Kentucky’s Willie-Cauley Stein Jumps Out Of The Gym To Finish Alley-Oop Against Georgia

This is the type of play that makes us somewhat skeptical even robots could beat the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats.

Willie Cauley-Stein is 7-0, 240 pounds, but runs and jumps like a players eight inches shorter and 50 pounds lighter. His offensive game is admittedly raw, but that doesn’t answer a nagging question: How is the junior still in college? The NBA loves centers that can block shots on one end and finish close ones on the other, and Cauley-Stein certainly fits that description.

But college basketball isn’t all about talent, or even experience. The Wildcats are tied 32-32 with the Georgia Bulldogs at halftime. And though WCS and company can count on shooting better than 33 percent in the game’s last 20 minutes, the crowd at Stegeman Coliseum is just getting ramped up.

Will Kentucky’s pursuit of history end tonight? We highly suggest tuning in to ESPN – and not just for potential of dunks like this one.
