Look, man, I just report it:
HUGH Jackman will be taking on his most challenging role yet, playing a man with genitalia attached to his face in a very risque comedy opposite Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet. Jackman plays a man whose testicles are located under his chin and Winslet plays a woman who goes out on a date with his character.
Challenging role? I don’t know, having nuts on his chin doesn’t seem like it’d be much of a stretch for him etc. etc. rimshot gong sound. Anyway, this is apparently just one segment of a movie to be made up of comedy shorts. Cinematical describes it…
…an upcoming untitled sketch comedy film co-financed by Relativity Media that will feature 17 directors and 15 actors [something about that isn't adding up.. -Ed.], and be in the vein of such classics as The Kentucky Fried Movie. Some of the folks already signed up to participate include Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Gerard Butler, Elizabeth Banks, Liev Schreiber, Johnny Knoxville, Seann William Scott, Tony Shalhoub, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Moretz, [Naomi Watts, Justin Long, Sam Rockwell], and Patrick Warburton. These folks will appear in different sketches that will be directed by names like Peter and Bobby Farrelly, Brett Ratner, Elizabeth Banks, Griffin Dunne and Bob Odenkirk.
I’d love to see them do this more often. How many comedies would’ve been better as 10-minute sketches? Meanwhile, sources say Brett Ratner signed on as soon as he heard it’d be Kentucky Fried, but was only half listening.
PS: I swear to God these are the two most recent photos on Ratner’s real Twitter with no alterations:
I call this “Ratner Schlubbed”.
[Update 2: And South Park did too. I knew Family Guy wouldn't have thought of that on their own.]
