Taylor Lautner made $33 million last year, out earned Robert Downey

Vanity Fair just released their list of last year’s top earners in Hollywood, and the top spot should be no surprise.  James Cameron’s estimated $257 million was more than the next three highest combined. James Cameron would take a swan dive off his private skyscraper into his indoor shark pool if he ever had to go back to earning what Chris Nolan earns ($71.5 million).  At that rate, he’d probably have to fire the Ukranian teens who chew the caviar he feeds his lizards.  At that point, why even bother?

Meanwhile, the biggest surprise on the top 10 was probably Taylor Lautner at number nine with $33.5 million.  Why a surprise?  I guess it’s just that, well, you expect someone who makes the top ten in earnings to, how shall I put this… actually be good at something.  This dude rode his Paul Walker-level acting abilities to a supporting role in Twilight and suddenly he’s out-earning Robert Downey Jr, who I believe starred in 67 movies last year.  I know he’s got great abs, but honestly… you want a hairless teen with abs?  I can get you a hairless teen with abs, believe me.  There are ways, dude.  You don’t wanna know about it, believe me.
