What’s green and slimy and smells like bacon? Why Kermit the Frog’s finger, of course. Anyway, after a few fictional, movie-within-a-movie type trailers, The Muppets has an official trailer. Starring Jason Segel and Amy Adams, directed by James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords, Da Ali G Show) and written by Jason Segel and Nick Stoller, it opens November 23rd. Naturally, my favorite part was Fozzy showing off his “fart shoes.” I’m a simple man.
It looks fun to me. But it could just be that I can’t remember the last time I saw a trailer for a family comedy that didn’t show someone dancing to hip hop.
