Taylor Lautner's Amazingly Hilarious Role In Grown Ups 2 Was Revealed

With That’s My Boy set to queef up theaters on June 15, all eyes will soon turn to Adam Sandler’s first sequel, Grown Ups 2, which is turning out to be quite the star-studded affair. Along with the original cast, the sequel will include Shaquille O’Neal, Milo Ventimiglia, and Taylor Lautner. Go ahead, start polishing those Golden Globes.

So the question on everyone’s minds has been – what will Lautner’s role be and is he capable of being funny? Thanks to Ventimiglia, we now know the answer to the first part, but we’ll have to wait until next year to find out the rest. You know, if December 21 fails.

“I’m going on to do ‘Grown Ups 2,’ ” Ventimiglia said during the live Q&A, all part of the lead-up to Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards. “I’m [working] with Taylor Lautner. We’re playing fraternity brothers. I haven’t started [shooting] — I’m heading out the day after tomorrow — but I met him. He’s a sweet kid. A very, very nice guy.” (Via MTV)

And Ventimiglia is doing the fiscally responsible thing, too, for a guy whose acting roles have been few and far between since Heroes went from awesome to turd in record time. He’s accepted his lifetime membership to the Happy Madison club.

“I’m in the family now,” he said. “The first phone call I got from him, he said, ‘Hey, buddy, it’s going to be like summer camp.’ Summer camp? Summer camp is fun, so if it’s anything like that, it’s going to be great.”

If Grown Ups 2 is summer camp, couldn’t they at least try to make it like Camp Firewood?
