Why on Earth are Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels sitting on that statue of a deer like they’re riding it? I have no idea, but I’m sure that there’s a hilarious reason for it, as it’s the first official image from Dumb and Dumber To. The sequel to the original comedy that came out almost 20 years ago is still scheduled to hit theaters on November 14 this year, as AMC reminded us in yesterday’s Tweet with the above image (not to be confused with the images that Carrey and Daniels posted from the set of the film back in September), writing “RT if you’re telling us there’s a chance you’re going 11/14? YEAH!!!”
I think the answer for many people familiar with the Farrelly Brothers’ work since Dumb and Dumber will answer AMC’s question with a very reluctant, “I guess.”
As for the plot, they’re tackling a more serious topic this second time around:
“The story [for 'Dumb and Dumber 2'] revolves around the fact that one of them may have sired a child. They want to go and find the child because he’s having a kidney problem and he wants to ask [his dad] for one of his kidneys.” (Via Screenrant)
If there’s not a joke about a bathtub full of ice, I will be shocked. SHOCKED, I say.
