Starring Shailene Woodley, Kate Winslet and a bunch of Abercrombie models, Divergent tells the story of society being split into factions based on personalities. No longer will Teams Edward and Jacob be allowed to live amongst each other. Wait no, I’m mixing my lusty teen hero dramas up again.
Woodley plays Tris Prior, a girl who learns that she’s a rare breed known as Divergent, which is also the title of the movie. Crazy how that works out. Anyway, because she doesn’t fit into one of the five factions – there are only five personalities in the future, so plan accordingly – everyone will try to kill her if they find out that she’s special. Oh future people, when will you ever stop alienating those who are different?
