Watch Tara Lipinski Perform A Big Lebowski-Themed Skating Routine Without Spilling Her White Russian

Now this is the kind of figure skating routine I can get behind. To celebrate Jimmy Fallon’s last week at Late Night (before he moves to another late night show! Hooray, every likable comedian gets a late night talk show that people pretend to watch!), Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski performed a routine called “The Big Lipinski” on the Rockafeller Center skating rink. Set to the tune of “I Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In),” Lipinski glided around the rink in a white v-neck and bathrobe, all while holding a White Russian. Yes, there is a beverage there, man. I like pretty much all things Lebowski-related, so I support this, but feel compelled to call bullshit on that not being a real White Russian. Unless they just used really heavy cream in it, which would be very Dudelian.

Speaking of The Big Lebowski, a couple years back, my dad, who is often and accurately compared to a real-life The Dude, came up to San Francisco for my birthday party, which we celebrated at SF Indie Fest’s Big Lebowski fest. They had White Russians, a trampoline, the whole nine. My dad wore a bathrobe and slippers, with a Big Lebowski shirt of the Dude wearing a bathrobe and slippers. “That’s so meta,” everyone told him. We got kicked out when my dad tried to smoke a joint inside, and later on his drive home, he called me to ask what “meta” meant.
