I saw this trailer for ‘Gun Woman’ from Japan over at CHUD under the headline “if Andy Sidaris and Takashi Miike had a baby.” Of course, the name Andy Sidaris, director of ‘Hard Ticket To Hawaii,’ opens doors around here. So I watched the trailer for ‘Gun Woman,’ from writer/director Kurando Mitsutake, and while no one gets told they have a great ass or killed with a frisbee and there’s a distinct lack of snakes and explosive blow-up dolls, it does have guns and naked gun fights and a girl who apparently got her boob shot off. And as Teddy Roosevelt once said, that’s enough. It stars Asami, previously of ‘Bad Butt,’ ‘Dead Sushi,’ ‘Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead,’ and the ‘Rape Zombie’ series, who frankly sounds like she’s at the top of her game.
A brilliant doctor on a quest for revenge buys a young woman and trains her to be the ultimate assassin, implanting gun parts in her body that she must later assemble and use to kill her target before she bleeds to death.
Hmm, are we sure this “doctor” is really so “brilliant?” Like, if he wanted to train the ultimate assassin, would he really put the kill switch inside her body? Like, maybe instead he could’ve hidden Monopoly pieces inside the intended victims, and if she collects an entire set she gets a free Big Mac or something. People love that game.
