The Super Serious ‘Pauly Shore Stands Alone’ Has Been Picked Up By Showtime

If you’re one of the very few people that has been asking the question, “Hey, what’s up with Pauly Shore?” Showtime will soon have a very good answer for you. The cable network has picked up the documentary Pauly Shore Stands Alone, which was directed by the 46-year old comic and reveals his struggles as an aging, arguably washed up stand-up comedian trying to recapture any of the fame he once cherished. According to Deadline, this far cry from 2003’s Pauly Shore is Dead will air on Showtime on December 4, and judging by the trailer above, it’s probably going to make a lot of people really feel bad for the man who once wheezed the juice.
