'Brick Mansions' Has A New Trailer With More Parkour Than You Can Handle

The latest trailer for Brick Mansions, the last film that Paul Walker completed before he died in last year’s car accident, seems like it was made with a very serious mission to make us believe that this is a very serious movie. A remake of the 2004 French film District B13, which was also written by Luc Besson and Bibi Naceri, and starred David Belle in the same role, Brick Mansions focuses on a cop who has to go deep undercover in the walled city that is run by a drug kingpin (RZA) to stop him from either selling or setting off a neutron bomb. And how do you do that? With parkour, mother f*ckers.

You can say whatever you want about the actual trailer itself – or how the original was a film that never needed to remade, like a lot of you pointed out last time – but holy moly, let’s talk about the song selection for a second. A brooding rock cover of “Stand By Me”? This felt less like a movie trailer and more like the commercial for an upcoming UFC pay-per-view.
