Chris Pratt’s Old Yearbook Photos Reveal Everything We’d Expect From Star-Lord

It seems that my quest to prove that Chris Pratt is some sort of alien warlock, too impossibly kindhearted and charming to be a mere mortal human being, has hit a snag. The star of Guardians of the Galaxy, as it turns out, was an ordinary high school student just like you or I, with his senior yearbook photo wedged between some girl and a kid in a Mossimo t-shirt. Redditor and fellow Lake Stevens High School graduate “warped_and_bubbling” revealed several old yearbook photos in a Reddit thread from earlier this week that was devoted to that hilarious video featuring Pratt talking about the time that he showed Amy Poehler his dong.

According to Mr. Bubbling, who earned quite a bit of Reddit gold with his yearbook bonanza, another Redditor’s claim that Pratt is basically the “man version of a Golden Retriever” is a “perfect description of him,” and this photo of his Lake Steven High superlative pretty much confirms that Pratt has simply always been the life of the party.

Not that he needed to entertain us any more than he already has – between being a part of the very wonderful Guardians of the Galaxy and showing off his rapping skills – but someone apparently needs to find out if this moonwalking claim is true.

… we ran in different circles usually. But I knew him from middle school until we both graduated in ’97, I’m sure we attended a handful of parties together but other than that we were just high school acquaintences. Had more than a few classes with him, absolute class clown, the kind of guy who could crack a joke in class and never get in trouble for it, and one of those students who was popular with everyone.

I’m sure if I thought about it longer (this was like, 20 years ago almost now) I could think of some more specific things. But for some odd reason the one memory that jumps to mind was how good of a moonwalker he was. Seriously, we had one of those pep rally type assemblies once and in the course of one of the “rah-rah” type skits that he was involved in a Michael Jackson song hit and he absolutely nailed it. Might have to go open the old yearbooks when I get home to jog the memory more. (Via Reddit)

Why, oh, why have we not invented time travel solely for the purpose of going back to seeing how charming and cool stars were when they were younger? Oh, probably because there are too many perverts. Nevertheless, time to make with the moonwalking, Pratt.
