I’ve always found Daniel Radcliffe to be a lurky mouth-breather who endlessly creeps me out, so when I tell you that a Daniel Radcliffe project looks intriguing, you should believe me. ‘Horns,’ from ‘Piranha 3D’ director Alexander Aja, stars Radcliffe as a guy who everyone thinks killed his girlfriend – including the devil, who claims him as his own, giving him special powers and a sweet set of horns. Basically, what fundamentalist Christians already thought Harry Potter was about. Based on a Joe Hill novel, it looks like a strange, alternate version of David Fincher’s ‘Gone Girl,’ and sounds just weird enough to make use of Daniel Radcliffe as the lead. Though it’d be nice if the trailer didn’t all but tell you how it’s going to end.

I hope when the devil shows up, it’s Will Ferrell.
