All you folks on pins and needles wondering how they’d possibly tie up all those loose ends from Final Destinations 2 and 3 are in luck, because they’re making a fourth one. Oh, and it’s in 3-D.
The premise of the series is that even if you cheat death once, a force that is death itself will stalk you until it finishes what is started, usually in a gruesome fashion. While plot details for "FD4" are being kept under wraps, the movie will stand alone: It will feature new teens facing new forms of death.
The script was written by Eric Bress, who co-wrote "Final Destination 2." Ellis directed the second installment, which was praised for its elaborately orchestrated killings. [Hollywood Reporter]
Well isn’t that nice. With this and Saw, I feel like ever since I never saw the first one, the franchise has been stalking me with elaborately excessive sequels. (See what I did there? *sigh*)
Also, isn’t ironic that a movie called FINAL DESTINATION would keep having sequels?? Don’t ya think?! I mean, it’s like rain on my f*ckin’ wedding day!! GRR, BLOWING DAVE COULIER IN A THEATRE.
