James Franco Might Play A KKK-Like Cult Leader Next

You probably know Sidney and Thurman Sewell better as the “ATL Twins,” but if that doesn’t ring a bell, they were the twin brothers who played James Franco’s sidekicks in the 2012 film Spring Breakers. If you still don’t have a clue who these guys are, you should check out Vice’s series, “Meet the ATL Twins,” because they’re eccentric beyond the definition of the word, right down to the fact that they were once engaged to the same woman. And now they can apparently add breaking movie news source to their portfolio.

According to Page Six, the Twins know what Franco’s next movie will be before the little gremlins that update IMDB know, and that’s impressive seeing as he’s currently involved with 15 or so film projects. As for the next role, the Twins say that Franco will play a cult leader in the adaptation of Harmony Korine’s “A Crackup at the Race Riots.”

“[Franco’s] going to be like a KKK leader and we’re gonna be his goons. It’s really strange, in a good way,” they said.

Korine’s book is described as taking place in a world run by MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice.

The twins were also seen at a Rag & Bone after-party with Michelle Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino, who said he’s a fan. (Via Page Six)

A fan? Sure. But would he trust them with a copy of The Hateful Eight? NEVER! “NOBODY EVER GETS TO SEE THE HATEFUL EIGHT NOW!” Tarantino screamed as he crumpled balls of paper up and started swallowing them whole.

Anyway, I hope that this role would allow Franco to reprise his incredible accent from Homefront, because “Gator” Bodine is a gosh-darned classic cinema character.

(Also, this is one of the few photos listed on the ATL Twins’ IMDB page and it’s NSFW and very indicative of who they are.)
