The Feud You Didn't Ask For: Jason Biggs Vs. Jason Russell (the naked Kony guy)

I guess if you’re going to try to get free press for your first relevant movie in four years, there’s no better way to do it than kicking a naked man while he’s down. American Reunion stars Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott stopped by WGN-TV on Wednesday to promote their latest installment of the American Pie film franchise, which seeks to answer the question: “How little can we care about these characters that were never that deep to begin with?”

For some reason, Biggs stripped off his clothes in a hallway at the station (video after the jump) and began mocking Invisible Children co-founder Jason Russell, who of course made news with the video of his naked public meltdown recently. Obviously, the people at Invisible Children and those close to Russell don’t think it’s very funny to mock the guy – we do, but whatevs – and they lashed out at Biggs with a very professional and mature statement.

According to TMZ, a spokesperson for Invisible Children — the advocacy group behind Russell’s mega-viral “Stop Kony” campaign — responded with a jab at the actor’s celebrity status: “Who’s Jason Biggs? Was he famous once or something?” (Via MSNBC)

Added the spokesperson, “I mean, for reals, he’s acting like he’s some A-lister like Jaden Smith or Taylor Lautner, but he is totes gross balls. You want some comedy? Go watch Two Broke Girls, KTHXBAI.”

I guess if there’s anything to take away from this, it’s that Biggs is desperate for attention and Invisible Children has actual children running its PR department.
