God still trying to kill Tyler Perry

For the second time in four months, Tyler Perry’s studio in Atlanta is on fire. According to reports, the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire. Now I know why they call it “Hotlanta!” (*dragged offstage, kicking and screaming*)

The fire is the second blaze in recent months at the studios on Continental Colony Parkway in southeast Atlanta.
Fire officials have not released information on Monday’s blaze, but police dispatchers reported that the roof of a building at the complex was on fire.
The fire was apparently in a three-story, 100 by 200-foot building. Video from the Channel 2 Action News helicopter showed about two dozen firefighters on the roof of the building, but no smoke showing at 11:30 a.m.
In early May, the exterior of a building in the 30-acre complex was heavily damaged be fire. The interior of that building sustained some water damage.
It was not immediately known whether the building on fire Monday was the same building that caught fire on May 1.
The 200,000-square-foot studio, which opened in 2008, is home to sets, sound stages and a 400-seat theater. In March, Perry hosted a fundraiser for President Barack Obama at the studio. [AtlantaJournalConstitution]

Police have not yet determined what caused either blaze. But if I had to guess, I’d say it was probably one of Tyler Perry’s incendiary scripts. I mean a lawyer named “Deeds” who learns the value of good deeds in a film called “Good Deeds?” I’m surprised his crayola didn’t melt while he was writing it.
