Yeah, that’s what the iPhone needs! A game about shooting zombies! It doesn’t have any of those!
Anyway, Activision’s ongoing attempts to spread “Call of Duty” beyond consoles continues today with the “Call of Duty” game aimed at people who don’t play console games, with a top-down iOS zombie shooter. If it seems a lot like a grimmer “Zombies Ate My Neighbors”, that’s because…well…that’s really what it is.
Also included in this game are Voice Chat and multiplayer, so you can discover the joys, or lack thereof depending on who you wind up teamed with, of CoD’s multiplayer system and, of course, a stats tracker. We predict that some way, somehow, those stats will wind up on Elite. Just a guess.
