Dishonored 2 certainly seems to have plenty going for it – an intriguing story, a star-studded cast of Game of Thrones and The Wire alums, a badass new female protagonist – but what about the thing most people really play Dishonored for? Will this sequel one-up the original Dishonored and let you destroy your enemies in even more creative and sadistic ways than before? Oh, you better believe it will.
Bethesda has just released a new “Creative Kills” trailer for Dishonored 2, and it looks like the possibilities for twisted experimentation are now deeper than ever. Most of the trailer focuses on new protagonist Emily Kaldwin, as most of the game’s new powers belong to her, and it looks like she’s got some doozies. Her Domino power links enemies together, so if you, say, pull one guy into a deadly electrical field, the whole group will be disintegrated. You can also create a doppelganger of yourself to draw enemies in, then blow it up once they gets close. Sneaky. Oh, and don’t worry, original Dishonored hero Corvo is back and can still wreak plenty of bloody havoc with his tried-and-true Blink and Time Bending powers.
Dishonored 2 sneaks onto the PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 11.
