Street Fighter V won’t hit shelves for a few more weeks, but a whole host of eyebrow-raising alternate costumes have already been revealed for the game’s roster of fighters. Some of these costumes are retailer-exclusive pre-order incentives we’ve known about for a while, but some were recently unearthed by clever modders digging around in the latest update to Street Fighter V‘s ongoing beta.
The new costumes run quite the varied gamut. Chun-Li and Laura’s sexy butt and underboob-baring alternate costumes are sure to inspire plenty of online tooth-gnashing, but thankfully not all the new costumes take the fan service route. Chun-Li also gets a pretty boss police uniform (she is an Interpol agent, after all) and Zangief and Rainbow Mika get adorable matching wrasslin’ uniforms. Other highlights include Birdie’s ode to Street Fighter IV‘s Rufus, M. Bison’s cool hatless look and, of course, hunky shirtless Ryu and his beautiful beard.
Say what you want about Street Fighter V, but you have to give this series some credit for remaining unapologetically true to itself. Few other major games would dare to be this weird in 2016.
