Hideo Kojima and Konami are going through a messy breakup and the Metal Gear Solid series may never be quite the same, but we still have Metal Gear Sold V: The Phantom Pain to look forward to. Konami may have pulled Kojima’s name off Metal Gear Solid V, but they let him edit the game’s E3 trailer, and it’s every bit pretentious, beautiful, crazy, and transfixing as you’d expect.
High-minded voiceover, cool music, crazy characters, jiggling breasts, grotesque violence, giant robots — this trailer has it all. Perhaps the last true Metal Gear Solid game comes out September 1.
