The First Trailer For ‘The Witcher III: Blood And Wine’ Delivers Heavy Amounts Of Both

It looks like The Witcher III: Blood and Wine is going to be another exciting slice of Witcher-style action, intrigue and debauchery. As revealed last month, Blood and Wine takes players to Toussaint, an untouched fairy tale world full of noble knights, magic and maidens fair. Of course, not everything in Toussaint is perfect. A troublemaker like Geralt wouldn’t go there if it were.

The first trailer for The Witcher III: Blood and Wine has been released, and it gives us a good look at the picturesque landscape of Toussaint, and some of the country’s boisterous nightlife. We also get a glimpse at the reason you’re visiting – the countryside is being stalked by some sort of twisted beast, and it’s up to Geralt to take it down. Doesn’t this poor guy ever get to take a vacation?

While we’re at it, CD Projekt RED has also released a new developer diary for the Blood and Wine expansion. It further expands on the world and politics of Toussaint, and contains a ton of very pretty new footage, so it’s definitely worth a look…

“This won’t be just another fight. It’ll be the fight.” Well dang, I’m ready. Let’s do this thing! The Witcher III: Blood and Wine arrives May 31.
