Pew Pew Pew

The unfortunately-named “PewPewPewPewPewPewPewPewPew” debuted at Global Game Jam 2011 at the Art Institute of Portland.  This Xbox Live Indie game won the “Both Hands Tied Behind My Back” award for games that can be played without arms.  Someone alert Stephen Hawking immediately.  He must know.

To clarify, the players use either the Xbox 360 headsets or Rock Band microphones to play.  One player blows into a mic or makes jetpack noises (for realism) to control the thrust of the space-man’s jet-pack.  The other player makes “pew pew pew” noises to fire or makes very loud noises to drop bombs which clear the screen.  A gameplay video is below, but I’m a little distracted trying to figure out how they got Michael Winslow into a white guy costume.
