Fan films can be awesome, or ridiculous, but usually they’re both. Look no further than “Batman Deliverance”, a French noir fan film that loves three things: Batman, Wolverine, and lens flares.
In terms of coherence, the film’s a bit of a mess. We’ve got a little Dark Knight Returns, a little fanboy fistfighting that implies Wolverine is a Batman villain, a lot of French, some awesomely stark cinematography, and some pretty decent homemade special effects. Also an old French guy with his shirt off.
OK, so it’s not exactly the plot of the year, but it’s eight minutes long and it’s pretty fun. Check it out below.
