Below is the short film 28 Geeks Later starring Duchess Jenean L. Skappak, JJ Webb, and Tyler James Nicol (who also wrote it). It envisions a zombie apocalypse where the nerdy zombie protagonists can still talk, reason, and run, much to the chagrin of one of the zombies who had different plans for dealing with dystopia. Instead of being a badass zombie hunter shotgunning dumb, slow zombies, he got bit on the first day of the outbreak and whines about how disappointing this apocalypse is.
I wouldn’t mind a full-length zombie movie where the horde is intelligent and nerdy. And if they spout lines like, “I just don’t think we should run. That’s not what I grew up with.” even better.
