For Halloween: Angry Pumpkins?

“Angry Birds” is pretty much officially the new Tetris. It’s getting pretty ridiculous at this point; there’s even a board game, although we have to ask why nobody ever thought of firing a slingshot at a Jenga set before.

So, with popularity, comes something that all video games must eventually achieve: the real-life simulation.

Sam Beards, a twelve-year-old living in the middle of nowhere in England, decided to use his dad’s pumpkin cannon and the copious bales of hay, boards, and other random crap that’s always lying around on a farm to make a live-action version of “Angry Birds”. He even bothered to paint the pumpkins, which seems kind of pointless. Before you ask, no, the black bird does not explode, but it’s still pretty satisfying. Video under the jump.
